The Production Divisions
Our company’s production is divided into specialized departments, each focused on a specific phase of the process and the use of cutting-edge technologies. EVA Sole Molding:
Maximum Comfort, Minimum Weight
The EVA department produces soles from EVA, a material that is lightweight and comfortable. This makes it perfect for various types of footwear, including sports shoes, sandals, and flip-flops.
This department uses multi-station and multi-injector EVA molding machines.
TPU Sole Molding:
Engineered for Resistance, Built to Last
The TPU department specializes in producing soles from TPU, a material that is resistant to abrasion, chemical and atmospheric agents, and incredibly durable. It’s ideal for technical, sports, trekking, and designer footwear where performance is critical.
The department uses multi-station and multi-injector TPU molding machines, which are fed by an automated material distribution system.
TPU and TR Light Sole Molding:
Lasting Lightness, Weightless Durability
This department develops and produces advanced solutions aimed at drastically reducing weight without sacrificing performance or durability.
The TPU Light division specializes in soles and components made from an advanced version of TPU. These are ideal for sports and technical footwear, offering responsiveness and agility with reduced weight and a secure step even in challenging conditions.
In parallel, the TR Light process focuses on a thermoplastic material that combines extreme lightness with excellent flexibility and cushioning properties.
This department uses specific machinery and technologies to create ultra-light shoes that maintain strength and grip.
PU Casting:
Lightweight Comfort with Every Step
The PU department specializes in producing polyurethane fussbett with varying degrees of hardness, perfect for a wide range of uses, from casual footwear to insoles.
These polyurethane fussbett are lightweight, highly elastic, and durable.
Thanks to specialized machinery, the company can also cast polyurethane inside soles as a filler, which improves the comfort and lightness of the footwear.
This department uses multi-station rotary systems for polyurethane casting.
Finishing and Gluing Department: Where Quality is in the Details
A team of experts carefully handles the finishing, gluing, and rigorous quality control of every single sole. This department is equipped with dedicated assembly lines for finishing and gluing, along with an automated system for water-based gluing, which further optimizes the production process.
Advanced Process Technologies
Each station is equipped with extraction hoods and, depending on the specific process, includes:
- Ovens and tunnels for reactivating adhesives
- Semi-automatic presses
- UV ovens for activating primers
- Drying ovens
- Refrigerators to accelerate cross-linking
- Automatic systems for applying water-based adhesives
Customization and Style:
Leather Wrapping and Pad Printing
Chetta has dedicated pad printing and pad lamination machines that allow for customization of leather-wrapped fussbett with various logos, colors, and graphics. These special processes add a touch of elegance and uniqueness, ensuring a visually impressive finish.
