SUSTAINABILITY:
Chetta’s commitment to a better future
At Chetta, sustainability is not just a concept, but a concrete commitment that guides every company choice. The company produces soles using recycled materials, recovered from production waste, and bio-based materials, derived from renewable plant sources, with a constant focus on reducing CO₂ emissions.
Through research and development projects conducted in collaboration with institutions and universities, Chetta constantly invests in innovative solutions to improve the sustainability of products and processes.
Strategy and Objectives
Aware that production waste represents both an environmental and economic challenge, Chetta is committed every day to transforming it into valuable resources.
Through a careful strategy of analysis and characterization of internal waste, the company has identified TPU, the most used material in its processes, as a concrete opportunity for sustainability.
Thanks to its thermoplastic nature, TPU is completely recyclable. This characteristic has allowed Chetta to significantly reduce the environmental impact of production.
Recycling and Reuse: Optical Sorter
Through the use of specific machinery, Chetta recovers TPU production waste, which is then reintroduced into the production cycle. This virtuous process allows for the reduction of waste and the optimization of resources. In particular, the optical sorter allows for separating waste by color, optimizing its recovery.
Chetta’s Commitment Continues
Aware that the path to sustainability is a continuous journey, Chetta is committed to constantly improving its production processes, investing in innovative technologies, and raising awareness among its employees and partners about the importance of environmental protection.
Together for a Sustainable Future
Based on the premise that sustainability is a shared value involving all actors in the supply chain, Chetta is open to collaboration with its customers and suppliers to develop increasingly innovative and sustainable solutions.
